Underground Travel

Do you like the subway? the tube? the metro? Are you fascinated with maps and public transportation? Then this is the site for you. Subway Navigator is a French site (available in French or English) that enables you to plan routes on a long list of international subway systems. In planning your route you can look at maps or see a list of stations, and then the navigator comes up with a suggested route. But the very coolest part is the "visualize your route on the subway map" feature. Here you can see your route in a series of moving dots along the subway map, with different colors for departure, arrival, and transfers. This feature sadly only seems to work in IE on a PC (rrrrr), but all the practical bits worked for me no matter what I was using.

Train-fancier Quizzy says, "check it out!"
