And I'm Cute, Too!

Jerry R. Juhl is a prime example of why the obits are my favorite section of the paper. This is where you meet people you admire but never even knew existed until they die. If I had ever thought about it, of course I would have realized that someone had to have written all those clever things that muppets said on Sesame Street and the Muppet Show, but I never did until this morning. And here I find out that the head writer for the Muppet Show baked in search of the perfect bagel and lived in Caspar(!), my favorite town.

I Got the Horse Right Here, His Name Is Paul Revere

Happy Birthday to Damon Runyon! Youth wants to know why he is not more popular. Don't let anyone serve you up the old phonus balonus--he's brilliant. Read Guys and Dolls and see for yourself.

Random House

It's a website, it's a book, it's a bus tour, but most of all, it it's a telephone number. Mundane Journeys is is like Dial-a-Song for those meandering the streets of San Francisco. Call 415-364-1465. You won't regret it.
